Hey /b/ I have a broken gold chain and am low on cash. I don't know shit about jewelry and just wanna get the most money out of it. It's a gold chain my dad gave me but broke when I accidentally knocked it off my nightstand and onto a power strip. Electricity and gold don't match I hear. It's still in good condition just beyond repair. Can get pics in a few if needed

Well when my necklace fell on top of the power strip it somehow snapped and warped a little and it's blackened around where it snapped. Pretty sure I heard a buzz, I was half asleep which is why I was clumsy

Not finding a stamp. The chain has the design pictured which makes it hard to etch something. The chain also had an eagle pendant with it, I'm assuming also gold. I wanted to keep it for when I can afford another chain. Anyways, I can't find any kind of etching anywhere

I had to replace the clasp a few years ago and I went to some guy who also melts gold down. He charged me like $30 for parts and labor. For that little clasp which isn't even gold at all I bet.
