I live on cola also. Depends how old you are. Around the college age you have 5 points to hang out on the weekends and weekdays when USC is in. Lot of the bars in 5 points though are heavy into the Frat culture.

If yoyu are 24+ I recomend going to the Vista, there you find grad students and people up to 30. Lot chiller scene and less crazy drunk than 5 points though the drinks are more expensive and some places charge a cover. Stay away from 2 notch road and mainstreet at night unless you wanna get jumped by some niggers.

Also had a buddy get jumped by a group of niggers around 5 points so just travel in groups and you should be good.
