Switch UI(currently using it), Alos, Elta, Clix, and Lumos are pretty good right now. Out of all of them, Switch UI is probably the best, but go for Lumos if you like softer, dimmer colors. If you want something closer-ish to Lumos but brighter, go for Vopor. Switch, Lumos, and Vopor cost money unless you want to get them through means other then the play store.

I like the HTC in theory. But in reality, it's biggest drawback is it's pretty big and heavy, with a pretty small screen. The bevels on it are huge and I just can't get past that. Personally, I love the moto X I have the gen2, waiting on a price drop on the new Moto x Pure to replace mine. The new one is a great deal, $400 straight from the MFG, custom options, strong processor, SD card, any carrier. It's an awesome phone IMO. But the Samsung offerings are great too. Both match the HTC/iPhone on build quality IMO.
