Serious question. Based off my knowledge of wild cats and dogs (mainly from planet earth and disney) it seems like wolves and wild dogs and lions all live in a pack with an alpha male in charge. That being said, I prefer dogs over cats because cats are pretty much dead weight that's just "there" in the house which you waste time feeding and cleaning only to receive affection that a dog provides up to x100 more. To get the acknowledgement of a cat, it either sees you as family and/or as an equal to be respected. (They show this by showing their butt in your face.)
Because they are not overly social, they are quick to be put off. And they are quick learners when it comes to body language. So usually they are a good judge of character. (Dogs too. But dogs more for the good people and cats cat tell if someone is not an okay person.)

Well like it's been said previously by someone else, digs were forced bred from wolves to serve others like with hunting. Felines on the other hand, leaned centuries ago to live with humans and saw it as easier living if people were willing to feed them and keep them safe. Even in the wild cats don't have a pack mentality.They are social, but they can survive on their own so the pack doesn't make sense for them, plus they have pretty strong personalities. If you take in your home a cat and a dog, and they are both young and you raise them the same, usually the dog will follow the cat.The cat will initiate the mission to steal something, the cat will initiate the play session...I don't understand why dogs accept that, but I do get why cats do it.All of them will try to dominate, defy and lead.

Wolves weren't "forced" you retard. Like you said about cats, the wolves that learnt to follow humans were fed more (by scraps), hence were able to breed more. Natural selection would say that as the generations went on, the more "docile" and "friendly" genes became more prominent hence the domestication of wolves. As these "domesticated" wolves became more friendly, and the bond with humans grew, eventually they learnt to hunt together, became trainable etc.
