I was on death's bed and she seemed pretty real at the time. I recall going in and out of consciousness and there she'd be. I can't really explain when reality set in again, because I held on to the memories of her being there so tightly. I suppose the idea of her being something to me pulled me out of that state and helped me to get better, so I mean... it's also a chemical thing, love, that happened to me I associated my state of wellness with my love of her. (also to some smaller extent to Zero, but they're kind of the same person by the end.). I don't think I told my GF at the time (which would have been strange, I mean she was the one switching the tapes (yep, Panasonic VHS OVAs subbed. I still feel a strange sort of reminiscence of a happy memory regarding the character, can't really recall the GF as well.
