Further if you read the numbers regarding number of partners males have lifetime (7) it doesn't take much of a leap to know that the number of women who have extreme levels of sexual partners (I met a woman who had well over 100 by 25) is very, very, low and so not only is the 4 number of partners highly significant it reduces your arbitrary 3% of high sexual achievers much lower.

Also keep in mind that the number of sexual partners for males is quite low also.

I think your mistake is thinking that the bottom end of the scale is bringing the number down when it appears the exact opposite is true. If we removed the very small number of high achievers the number would be closer to 2 lifetime partners for women.
