I actually live in Baltimore. Didn't have to go to work today because of the riots.

A couple days ago 5 police killed this guy who was just walking somewhere. They obviously didn't intentionally kill him but they tackled him and beat him, severed his spine and a bunch of other shit. Afterwards, they apparently waited a pretty long time to call for any medical assistance to him and he died. The 5 cops were suspended WITH pay while they investigate. The other night a shit ton of people were pissed the police were suspended with pay and they started protesting. A small portion of protesters broke off and started rioting.

Pretty much thought some thug was faking it, and he ended up dead. No one is sure how his spine was severed, but the fact that he was running from the police, then screaming in pain and unable to stand when he was put in the back of the prison transport does not leave much room for guesswork.
The cherry on top is that they lacked probable cause to articulate the arrest in the first place, and his charge stemmed from evidence they found only after catching him.
