From my experience, I'd say about 1-2 tabs for your first time. But I've talked to people who say that 3 or 4 tabs is when it starts getting trippy as shit.
As for getting ahold of some, start making friends with some of those shitty looking guys who hang around public parks, or just ask around in your general friend pool I guess.

I suggest you take a nice dose for your first trip. In the area of around ~50 - 250 micrograms. Make sure to have a trip sitter. Don't let it be one of your "prankster" friends, make it someone you genuinely trust and is open minded about you expanding your mind. You need a very comfortable envioronment and something you could 'ancho'r your self to. Something that you can go to when you're tripping your mind off and automatically know that you're just on drugs and the face melting off your friends face is just that, a hallucination.

Coincidentally, my first trip was a beautiful trip that started at a rave and ended up turning into the most terrifying experience of my life when I gt home. But alto of things were set in motion to turn that trip into a bad one. I smoked a bowl after the rave when me and my friends got home and what no one told me(everyone else had some experience with it) was that weed, along with other drugs, would intensify my fry. I tripped out because I had already was in the twilight of my trip. I was cool, then it just kind of overtook me. Op, I can't believe nobody has said this yet. If it has a taste, it is not legit LSD. If your mouth goes numb or it tastes incredibly bitter, than you're dealing with a 2C or 25 compound. These are research chemicals, and you need to be careful. It's fine to do these drugs, but if it's on blotter, then no more than half a hit your first time. Psychedelics are all about set and setting. Your mindset when you do it, and the setting you place yourself in when you do it.

Furthermore, if you're looking to have an incredibly profound experience, you need to be okay with visiting every dark corner of your mind while on this substance. The goal is to keep a pleasant mindset. But sometimes things get too intense and we go places in our head that are not friendly. That's when you need to be able to tell yourself that it's just a drug, and it's effects will wear off soon.

For beginners, I always suggest having a dose of sleep aids set aside in case things get to be too much for you. Also, after you've taken you're dose, as it's in your mouth, i suggest writing a word on a piece of paper, folding it up, and putting it in your pocket. It can be any word, or a phrase. This will serve to pull you back from any dark impasse you may encounter if you so need it.

ok, can someone please give me advice, I'm about to trip again after avout 9 months since my last trip, it was a bad one. How do I mentally prepare myself? Should I meditate the day of doing so and eat a healthy snack. I start having these weird thoughts and I start talking inside my head thinking other people can hear me. what i do before tripping:
-full night sleep
-full meals throughout the day or at least before tripping
-fruits and veggies
-make sure i got some easy to eat healthy food around for during the trip
-make sure i have a lot of water
-relax and do stuff that puts me in a good mood during the day

LSD is an incredibly powerful and at times unpredictable drug.

If you are already mentally fucked then LSD hopefully won't make it much worse or could potentially help.

My advice: If you can't get lsd and want to have a meaningful experience, try silence. Get your mind to be silent for even a brief period and you will see that your normal way of existing is inadequate and not peaceful. Can confirm. LSA was my first experience with anything like that (not counting salvia divinorum) and it was amazing. That is, it was until my friends (they came down waaaay before me apparently) decided we should all go to Cici's. Between not knowing how to interact with strangers (i.e. how to pay for my food), the disgusting food and fluorescent lighting and shit, and the domestic violence episode occurring at the table next to us, I ended up freaking the fuck out. Went to a real bad place for the next couple hours.

Yeah, I honestly think the percentage of people that can trip acid and be fine is much higher than people think. My one friend started dating this total non-hippie girl, from a conservative christian background, like I would have guessed if anybody could not handle acid it would be her, but I've tripped with her and she seemed more comfortable in her own skin if anything. Even people I know with psychiatric issues have tripped with positive results. Its really a very small subset of people prone to schizophrenic breaks that can't trip at all.

The flipside of this is even people who are perfectly suited to psychedelics, even if they are experienced, can have a terrible and permanently scarring time if they drop with no regard for set and setting. Like right before going to court, for instance, or a on translantlantic flight (although I bet I could pull that one off, I'm pretty fucking good at sitting still while tripping, I still wouldn't try it)

I have another question, what are the best ways to stop a bad trip? I'm the anon who asked how to prepare for a trip after not tripping for almost a year. Any solid ideas that have helped you? This might seem really dumb, but I was thinking about bringing a stuffed animal, he was given to me while I had my appendix taken out at the age of 9. I've been told if you bring something with you that gives you emotional closure it can help you cope and calm down.
