I too was attacked by a cat and left with severe injuries. From the bottom of my shoulder blades to the back of my knees I was completely black & purple with bruises, missing HUGE chunks of flesh(needed 3 LAYERS of stitches ultimately) and shredded like MAD where I did have skin left.
To this very day, nobody who saw my injuries believes my story of what happened. I don't really blame them though because I probably wouldn't have believed it either had I not experienced it. People think that cats are not dangerous but holy fucking shit, they can be!
I've owned cats all my life and prior to this, I'd never seen a cat go so psycho. I thought I knew what it was to see cats fight but this was a WHOLE nother level.
I also was raised on a farm so I've had my fair share of accidents involving livestock, mostly horses, but 2 cows as well. NONE of those accidents caused me half the pain & injuries that this fucking cat did.
It was my bfs cat, we're broken up now, but it took me a good 2 - 3 years to feel safe around that fucker again. On more than one occasion I didn't like the way he looked at me(before the attack he gave me the most fucked up facial expression, this was similar) and wound up locking myself in the bathroom away from the cat until my bf would get home from work. lol
I wish I still had the pics of my injuries.
In my defense, cat WAS almost 20lbs. of pure neuteredtoolatesothinkshesstillatom cat. :P
