It's a bit of work. The short explanation is that you need to look at the image directly, and go cross-eyed. If you do it hard enough you'll start seeing 4 girls (2 pairs) instead of the actual two. Cross your eyes just hard enough so that the inner-left and inner-right pictures merge together, and relax your eyes a bit. If you did it right then it'll appear as 3D. But if you start moving around too much or are focusing too hard, it'll break the illusion. I could make an image to demonstrate I suppose.
