If this disaster shows anything, it shows it's the one place on board you're probably not getting into in timely fashion. Only current aircraft I'm aware of with double doors are some 777/787s although sone former East bloc designs have flight deck "facilities". There's a thing called relative speed.
If you are sitting in a bus that goes at 60 mph, your relative speed is 60 mph, even if you are not moving yourself.

If you were somehow able to get the door open and this is implying you have the strength to open it at Mach 0.5 (I think I read somewhere they're impossible to open while in the air) then you just happened to be wearing a big rain coat and that you jumped out and were able to stabilise your fall the air resistance against the coat may, just may, slow your speed down enough that if you were fortunate enough to land on deep foliage like a tree or thick bush. As for the other methods of escape I'm not going to say much. I'm no engineer, but i'm sure that with some proper understanding of the forces involved it would be possible to slow down the speed of escaping passangers before they open their parachutes.
