Admins didn't disable 'net' commamd for users in school network. So, one could send a popup message to any computer in the LAN by using 'net send <IP address> <message text>'. Needless to say, all computers had sequential IP addresses (192.168.0.1 to 30 or something).

I.t were lazy as fuck. found a pc without bios password and booted a disc to get the admin password off the local machine. It was the same as the network password. They had banned .exes running from outside network so put vice city onto the network, everyone was playing it, even teachers. worked out machine allocation and remote shut down peoples computers during lessons. couldn't really think of anything else to do as we didn't have the skills to get into the rest of the network.
