I read 1984 about a month ago after I've been hearing about it on 4chan for a couple of years actually.
Beside the concept of the story and the world it is played in, whats so good about this book ? I enjoyed part 3 the most. As soon as they got caught the book finally started to get good in my opinion.

The Children of Húrin is the goddamn best book I´ve ever read.
Matt Ruffs´ Fool on the Hill is near perfect if you like modern fairytales.
Wheel of Time is pretty much fantasy in perfection.
