OP here, I honestly didn't really like Death Note as much as I anticipated. I think Code Geass did the same type of thing as Death Note but in a better way. The ending of Death Note just seemed so underwhelming how crappy the final "showdown" was. Like I expected there to be a huge mindgame going on and there just kinda wasn't.
