Okay, windows 7 is cake.
What we're going to do is create a user account, grab what you want, then delete that user account when we're all done.

so first, we need to get a command prompt at the login screen. This is the hardest part.

You have physical access though, so it makes it a lot easier.

We will need to boot into some sort of bootable media. Most computers will have a recovery partition on them by default.

Reboot the computer and repeatedly tap F8 over and over again until you get a black screen asking about safe mode.

Use the arrow keys to select startup repair. It will run some tests, then give you the option to use tools or run commands, something along the lines... I can't recall the exact wording off the top of my head.

Once you've got a screen open that has things like Revert to Restore point, open command prompt, etc... Click command prompt.

This command prompt may or may not select as the C drive the recovery partition, this isn't where we want to be. You'll need to keep changing drives and checking them till you find th right one.

So first type "dir" without quotes. If you see a Users and a Windows folder listed... you're in the right folder, if not, type "d:\" without quotes and hit enter. Type "dir" without quotes again, and look for the folders. Repeat these steps until you find the right drive letter. If it says a drive letter isn't available, move on to the next one You'll eventually find the one you want to be in.

Once you've found the right drive letter, we're going to go into the system32 directory... and no, we're not going to "delete system32", we actually have a reason to be in here.

type the following: copy magnify.exe magnify.bak
Press Enter
Type: copy cmd.exe magnify.exe
Press Enter

Now reboot.
When you get to the login screen, click the accessibility link on the bottom left of the login screen, select the magnifier option, and a command prompt will open at the login screen with full system privileges.

Press enter.
you'll be prompted for a password, give the account a password and hit enter, type again to confirm.

Now we need to add the user to the local admins account.
Type: net localgroup Administrators TempUser /add
Press Enter.

Close the command prompt.
Press ctrl+alt+del twice, you SHOULD be given a freeform logon prompt to type in a username... but it's possible depending on some variables that you might not. In which case, reboot and you'll see the TempUser account listed next to her account.

Click it, login with the password you gave it.

do what you want, then when you're all done, logout.

Open the hidden command prompt from the Magnifier link, and type net user TempUser /delete

you don't have to switchthe magnifier back if you don't want to bother, just close it... she'll never know and you'll have it there to get back in if you need to... and this way, she'll never know because her password was never changed.
