Serious question:
Wouuldn't animals / organisms that live THAT deep in the ocean die when they try to reach the surface?
For once there is a huge difference in pressure and they probably never had sunlight on their skin, if they even have skin that could hold off sunlight (some of those deep sea creatures are just transparent).
Since /v/ is fucking shit, this is my best chance hope: What video games involve a deep abyss? Loved endless ocean and exploring shit in GTA:V. The only other I know of is Aquanauts holiday and that's a ridiculously rare asian import.

Just back from my vacation in the carribean:
> went snorkling
> suddenly notice that water ahead of me (like 20 meters out) turns dark blue
> decide to swim over there and look down to see just how deep it is
> look down underwater
> there is this giant ledge
> can't see ground anymore, just endless depth
> from one moment to the other water became 100meter+ deeper
> start to feel uncomfortable
> swear to god I saw huge fish swimming down there in the depths, most likely a shark of some sorts

Jaws Unleashed.
It's like GTA, but you play as a shark.
The ocean (free roam or in mission) is deep, but in one particular mission you actually enter a really deep abyss.
It's a good game, if nothing else it's a nice timewaster. Pretty gory too, in all of it's somewhat dated graphics
I think this sign is pretty cool.

Basicly we are all afraid of the unknown and when we experience a certain limitation in our senses we are unnable to determine what comes next and there we go fear. I think it's a sane thing to be afraid of the depths.

>>563492676
>You think you're smart don't you faggot?
They exhausted their resources, whales became smaller and therefore harder to catch, so the energy spent on catching them was more than the energy return of eating them. They also changed distributions and moved out of typical megalodon habitat. Not enough to go around.
