cyanogenmod is an entry level yet still god tier rom. It's entry level cause of how easy it is and god tier due to being 6.02x10^23 times better than any skin over android. Personally I like it more than stock android from the nexus line.

cyanogen mod is a custom android build iirc. has some extra functions like rights management for apps and such.

some people say its another OS but imho thats horseshit cause it very much relies on android. its basicly a heavily modified android fork, yeah.
