Hey /asp/ies, I'm a fixed wing pilot but recently, PPGs have caught my attention. The lack of a need for a runway, the minimal regulation, and the relative freedom of ultralight class aircraft has me wanting one of these.
Are there any paragliders here? If so, any tips for a beginner? Any recommended reading?
If anyone has any motors or wings they would suggest, that would be bretty cool too. I've been looking at Blackhawk motors, but that's mostly because I see them spammed all over YouTube and Google.
I weigh about 185 so I don't need anything too powerful, but I would like to be able to be able to do a tandem if I wanna take a chick up or something. At the very least, I would like it to be able to handle my father's weight of 230.
