Not-a-wrestling-fan with a question: Why do they tell WWE announcers what the plot twists and shit are going to be ahead of time? They're not (good) actors. They can't sell shit as naturally as if they were actually surprised.

Because if you don't, you get legit confusion and stuttering like WCW 2000 had where Tony & the gang literally had little to no clue what was happening around them.
They can't inform the TV viewer of their backgrounds if they're not informed of what's going to happen themselves.
