Are they pairing Cena with Enzo & Cass to make the newcomers more relevant or to give Cena a rub?
He was paired with the new day when they were getting crazy pops and Cena boos were still apparent so the similarities are there
There's only so much WWE can do with him and it's becoming an embarrassment
It's to give Cena a rub just like with Ryder.
It gives Enzo and Cass something to do and gives more life to the Cena-AJ program.
And even hardcore crowds are turning on Cena. If they're booing him, it's because it's fun to do. Any actual hate is focused on Roman now.
This is for Enzo and Cass. Cena has evolved beyond the heel/face dichotomy into someone respected by all.
Because they have to, AJ's promo was true, Cena is kayfabe alone at the top of the mountain, through his career he never made a single ally, so every time he's losing on the numbers game, they just slap whoever is popular in Team Cena. It happened with Zack Ryder, New Day, Cryme Tyme (Ok, they were never popular) and now Enzo and Cass.
