He can sell, his biggest issues are that he does complex holds for the sake of it and never actually HOLDS them on (twice in the Shibata match at RevPro he had Shibata in holds that looked like death and then transitioned to a pin for no reason) and that his non-submission offense generally looks pretty weak
Also this isn't on him but promotions keep positioning him as a face when he's a natural heel
