Yes, it clearly is. UFC has become the mainstream cultural norm for people over 12 years of age. If you're 15, or 65, and you admit watching UFC, that's cool. People talk about it. If you're 13 and admit being a WWE fan outside the house, you'll get the shit kicked out of yourself. This is competition.
