So I haven't used a skateboard in about 5 years and probably don't know how to ride one anymore, but I've been looking at the Evolve bamboo electric longboard and it looks pretty enjoyable.
Does anyone have experience with these? Seems like a fun way to get to work as I only live 2km away.

Is the competition better? Should I go for a Boosted board or something instead?

I used to work in a small skateshop and we got an electric board. The owner let me take it out, and I almost wrecked it. Be careful.

Are they much harder to ride than normal longboards, though?

I wish the technology for these existed a few years ago when I was a kid. I remember when those electric scooters came out, with the gigantic fucking batteries that gave you like 30 minutes of ride time off of a 12 hour charge
