I actually liked 2K16 gameplay. Although it could have been more realistic.
The only things that screwed it up was
Universe Mode was so disappointing and overlooked by the devs.
The roster having multiple versions of one superstar (Stone cold has like 5-6 variations, Kane, HHH and his incarnations)
Bad A.I (Online play was even worst)
Bad customization, the Ps2 games were better at this.

Did anyone else ever play this one? Underrated as fuck in my opinion just for the story mode alone where you weren't even wrestling, you basically become a fucking murderer because you got fired. Tossing security guards and shit to their deaths off of high buildings or getting them run over, with the occasional wrestling showing up now and then as a bit of added muscle to try and stop you.

I'd also recommend Day of Reckoning 1 and 2. Literally the only example I can think of in wrestling vidya where the storyline of the second game is a direct continuation of the first one. Gameplay and physics are very similar to that of Wrestlmania XIX but with much more focus on y'know, the actual wrestling aspect of things.
There's only one other WWE game on Gamecube. Wrestlemania X8. It's a lot more arcadey and personally, I think it's shit (Solid original OST though).
