I think the problem is the RAWs and Smackdowns that aren't after a PPV or before a PPV are literally pointless and you could just watch the youtube clips and get as much entertainment out of it as you do the 2 and 3 hours they have to fill.
There's no point to watching RAW unless it's after a PPV because that leads to the next PPV.
PPVs have also become RAWs if they have no gimmick, MITB isn't a "RAW" tier PPV but for the love of fuck Battleground is, why the fuck does that still exist, same with Payback.

We know from the leaked notes that commentary is suppose to "Pose questions to make the audience think instead of telling them." but it just comes across as Byron being the annoying guy in the movie theater who can't follow the story and has to ask questions without waiting for answers.
