Abrose was an accident. I don't think WWE realized they were pushing him so hard. I think in their mind, they knew the crowd like Dean, so they gave him to them, while never fully intending on committing. But putting him in semi-big matches and having him almost come out on top kept putting him over. The Royal Rumble where it was just him and HHH was the big one. He lasted the longest when compared to Reigns, who pretty much took a 20 min break to rest in the back. Dean should have been their guy for a while
