Before I start the book i just wanted to reflect on Vince's forward

"Stone cold has 'it' he has the ability to relate to an audience and interpret its reactions, coupled with an insatiable desire to per form"

This was in 2003 over 13 years ago...

I bought the book from goodwill for 3$

Anyone have comments on the book?
>>
Watched the movie which had interviews from his Brit ex wife but also was not very heavy on information. I gotta pick up the book though.

>shopping at Goodwill

How's life living paycheck to paycheck?
All jokes aside, I thought he'd talk more shit about people. The only person I remember him dumping on was Lex Luger.

Btw 3$ is super expensive for a book at goodwill. Most are 1.99$ or less depending on the discount tag day...

>The gears in my head started turning as I connected the dots of what was going down. We were in Malaysia. We had instantly been surrounded by a gaggle (fun word) of nubile young ladies, communicating with an older woman flanked by a pair of gorillas in suits. Hmmmmm. I looked at the guys in the suits, then the old lady, then the girls, then the old lady, then the guys in suits … then it hit me. The girls were hookers, the old lady was the madam, and the gorillas were the pimps. We were in some sort of a brothel. I slapped my hands to my face like the kid from Home Alone and screamed, “Ahhhh prostitutes!! Prostitutes!! Run! Run! Run!”
I started smashing drinks and shoving people out of the way like George Costanza at an inflamed children’s party, trying to get the boys the hell out of there. A mass stampede to the door ensued, like when the girls revealed themselves as vampires in From Dusk Till Dawn — except these girls had revealed themselves to be hookers. We made it out the front door and ran down the street as if we were expecting them to chase after us and drink our blood.

Why do wrestlers write books if wrestling fans can't read?
>>

Bret's book is a must
it's a long read but it's worth it, especially chapter 41

I've read:
> The Stone Cold Truth
> Rey Mysterio: Behind the Mask (did that in like 2 days, pretty impressed with myself)
> Are You Ready? The Unauthorised History of DX (quite a small book)
I've listened on audiobook:
> Yes!: My Improbable Journey to the Main Event of WrestleMania (feels were had)
> Damn! Why Did I Write This Book? (Nice and easy 1:30 listen)

I must admit, I did like Rey's book a lot.

coincidentally, that was going to be the original title of the Tammy Sytch porno.

It sucks pretty damn bad. Almost no insight. Like he wrote it in character.

because they know their fans don't have to read, they just buy the books anyway.

Because if you put a book on the shelf next to your Monster Truck DVD collection, everyone on the trailer park immediately thinks you are "an intellectual" and "going places" and all of the girls want to be your woman.

Legitmately the best pro wrestling book ever written.

90% of them are ghost writers
The other 10% like to pretend they are legitmate authors like Foley and Jericho.

Hart's book is more honest to himself.

>Cloverleaf 2000

Haha! Next time Jericho comes back, he should have -2000 on the end of everything as his gimmick. Like come back as a guy whose time has past and suddenly his futuristic schtick looks massively dated, but doesn't realise this.
