That match was infinitely inferior from a wrestling standpoint and if there was no ladder then people wouldn't have cared as much.
Not saying that it was a bad match, but it wasn't nearly as good as their Halloween Havoc one and is a testament to how easy it was to cloud fans perspectives simply by adding one of the fancy gimmick matches into the fold.
