Everything has to be bland and relateable and uniform and safe. Nothing can shock or polarise opinion any more.
They have tried to satirise the phenomenon with the ultra-cringe "YES!" / "NO!" chants, to hold a mirror up to you and show you that your annoying social media complaining is just another conformist face in a crowd, copying what everyone else is doing.
But you didn't learn, and you didn't stop. And every time a guy who is not Your Guy went over, you moaned it was unfair. And everyone else did too. And it turns out that from a roster of 65 performers, you actually only like 5 of them. So you moan 12 times more than you congratulate their product.
