You guys do know you can get concussions by doing something other than hitting your head, right?
A concussion happens when your brain hitting your cranium. A head-on collision in hockey can lead to a concussion even if the guy on the bad end of hit falls on his ass. A wrestler can get a concussion if he lands flat on his back after a powerbomb.
And unprotected chairshots don't mean instant concussions. It'll ring your bells a whole lot, but that's because it resonates in your cranium (same way pain shoot through your leg if you hit your tibia hard enough). Unless you whip your head hard, you're more likely to get a fracture to the skull or neck problems than a concussion from a chairshot.
