Is Hiroshi Tanahashi the best wrestler who never gained North American notoriety?
Probably.
Tanahashi vs John Cena will forever be the greatest match that never happened.
The best match that will never happen is Prime Sting vs. Prime Taker and always will be
Yes.
Why did you make this thread here though? it's just gonna be full of shitposting.

No one gives a shit about your technical wrestling, story and character will always trump that.

Neither of them do anything for me. I don't deny that they were great. Just not for me.

I like Tanahashi discussion, despite shitposting. If only one more person watches one of his matches, I've done my job.
>WWE vs. NJPW
This would make most of my dreams come true.

Tana vs. Nakamura G1 Final last year is the best match I have ever seen.
What's your fav of his?
>>1329372
Recently, the Styles matches, the G1 match you mentioned, G1 match with Ishii in 2014, vs Okada at WK10 was great
>>1329322
Cena V Tanhashi could still happen anon
Implying John Cena would be in the Greatest match that never happened
Too old now
>>1329396
It's a pipe dream and my #1 dream match. They're both 39 now and top men in their companies. It would take WWE making a good offer to Tanahashi, and I don't think they'd do that just to please you and me and the couple of thousand other wwe fans who are also fans of Tanahashi.
The best chance we've got is people tweeting HHH that it would cement his legacy as a great wrestling mind to bring in Tanashi, to be honest.

I can see them setting some thing up in the tokyo dome and then putting it on the net work
>>1329417
Pretty sure he said he would never join WWE
Keep that chink shit across the pond, idc if he knows 12,000 moves and can win a 10 on one handicap match clean.

He's probably up there though.
That's not Okada
Good taste OP

What continent is Mexico in?
Regardless, Gory held titles in four different US wrestling territories during his career, and got to challenge Lou Thesz for the NWA Heavyweight Championship.
