From a business standpoint, you want the most dependable worker (i.e. consistently delivers very good matches) as the centerpiece of your main event, possibly as a challenger here and there, but mostly as a champion. This is because the marquee matches towards the end of the show/PPV are what people most remember, and if they're shit, they'll spoil the entire show for everyone. If they're good (see the Extreme Rules main event once you got passed the chair bullshit), they drag the entire show upwards.
But Vince is a stubborn retard who will waste the good workers trying to get over middling workers with zero (0) charisma because of family connections or because they give him a boner.
