Mainly this. A UK indie promotion might just be landing at just the right time now, as WWE has made Brit fans hungry for live events, and we have gone nearly 30 years without anything like a decent promotion here.
Only problem I see: Newcastle.
I love the place, but it's not a good base to start a national promotion. If they know there's lots of local interest that's fine, but when they expand, they will have to be London or Birmingham. Shit, even Manchester and Leeds are more accessible for most of the population.

Newcastle constantly sell out WWE, ICW, Progress shows up here but they only get shows twice a year. A northern promotion would thrive more than just another London company.

Yeah, I have no doubt that it has the local interest to survive. But WC is "an internet thing": they're not really a local community-facing operation. If they hope to establish an expanding organisation and take it national, Newcastle will be a difficult starting point. I guess cheaper overheads starting out are in their favour, though. Whatever, I think UK needs something to happen.
