Add in AJ and you're pretty much on the mark, at least over the last few years. Japanese promotions tend to build around a few guys more than one guy so you get a fuckton of main event matches with combinations of them rather than the usual WWE approach of one top guy and cycling challengers.

The upside to the Bomaye consistently being used 1-3 times in a match is that it adds unpredictability to when/if it's going to end. "Will this be the one that gets him?" is legitimate suspense.
