There's a group of 16 year olds at my local park who have started hanging out with us. They've only recently started skating but they're getting okay. They're all cool and clearly enjoy skating.

Guys so two days ago got my first ollie over a pipe went to my first skate park today got a drop in and went up and came down switch and ate shit. Try Ollie's and getting higher tried ollieing on this one foot obstacle my back trucks get caught. But I spent 3 hours doing it and riding switch in between to just try other thjngs. It's been 7 days since I first started skating. Really appreciate all the help I think by the end of summer if I just stay committed and ride every day and challenge my self I should have kick flips down. Have a great a weekend.

One thing that helps for ollieing higher things than youre used to is starting your Ollie sooner & farther away from the obstacle than you might think you need to. It takes time to get the board lifted and leveled so give yourself extra distance and time to do so. Good job dropping in , you always got to slam sometimes at least you made it to the other side first. You'll get used to kickturning around and coming down the other side regular stance , start practicing it as low as you want and you'll eventually be able to do it from a drop in. Start trying kickflips asap because part of it is developing the muscle to actually flick your foot, it doesnt just come magically, so start working on that flick motion by trying them asap even tho you can't do them yet

Pretty sure GX1000 started as a feature on thrasher and GX1000 was just the title of the feature, so multiple people were contributing for the filming, but over time it became one guys project, don't remember his name but he posts on pals forum I believe. There isn't a set crew but it is just the crew of people he works with and who have been featured in it before, then there are the regulars like All Davis and JJ. Squat as low as possible , work on learning powerslides because even if you can't do them, if you can at least push one frontside and then lay back to slide out on your ass that's a safe way to abort when they start, and avoid ever just going straight line, always want to be carving at least a little bit because it means you're keeping control of the board, also overtime you'll learn when your trucks and bushings and board is all set to handle a huge bomb and when not to risk it because your setups not right
