I missed their entire run. I didn't start watching until the summer Seth betrayed them. What are the best matches that will sum up the Shield's run for me?

I don't care what /wwe/ says, I loved these guys. I know some people online hate them, particularly Big Dave, but he'll always be my favorite. He just had raw power, brute force, the type of strength and physique a wrestler should have. Not this finesse flippy shit.

None. They suffer from the problem of all WWE smark favourite matches of the current era - highspot-fests with dead crowds. The only difference is that with the Shield you had Roman making a luke-warm tag to finish the match.

You see, that's the issue. It always looked to me like his mucles are only for show, just like Ryback. Except even Ryback has some feats of strenght unlike Batista.
Batista botched powerbombing Kane. Batista never lifted Big Show or Khali (Cena did it). Hell, Batista struggled with lifting Triple H.
I'm no expert on bodybuilding or whatever, so I don't know how this works, but Batista just didn't seem able to use all that muscle of his correctly.

To oversimplify things, it more or less works like this:
Your strength is a combination of how much muscle you have, how good your technique on the movement is and how much you're used to putting out maximum force.
If you've only ever done bodybuilding work, you'll tend to lack the latter two. Still way stronger than the average person but not what you'd expect from the size.

Batista should have won elimination chamber 2010. It would have been another accomplishment for his career since he never won one of those. Why was he not in the match, just to give him heel heat? All it did was give Cena another pointless "title reign".
If Batista came back in 2014 as a heel, like he wanted, I think he should have won the championship.
