You see here's the thing, I like Shane, but he's not a wrestler. He beat the shit out of taker, and honestly taker showed his old age here and was fat as fuck. Shane was in better shape than taker. And it was weird seeing Shane just kick out of his finishers, he's not a wrestler, it just didn't seem right.

I don't know what people expected. Shane hardly ever had a typical good match. He was only ever over as an in ring performer because he was willing to take life risking bumps.
Seriously, watch his match against Big Show at Backlash, or his match against Steve Blackmen. Those matches are awful, but people forget that because of the insane spots. This HIAC will be the exact same, and people will be praising it the same way in another 10 years from now because the crazy bump is what you will remember.

He's fine. The gurney at the end was a work you mark. It was to sell how brutal the match was. Shane was sitting up fine moments earlier just before the ending, beckoning Taker to give him more. It's pretty obvious he had no legit serious injuries
