So the other day I was in a bar and a really nasty fight kicked off. Someone ended up pulling a knife. Luckily I left cos I hadn't pissed anyone off but it freaked me out a bit. What's the best bet for defence against a knife? I've been lifting for a while and i'm relatively strong, would wrestling be my best bet? or eskrima?
Make a pipebomb doesnt matter how big or or expensive that knife was nothing beats a well placed pipe bomb

Get a bigger knife, maybe even a machete

You already performed the best tactic, you got the fuck out. Why the hell would you want to grapple with someone who has a knife and get closer to the knife? This isn't a movie cowboy, your best tactics are evasive maneuvers

I know, and obviously i'm not going to go round man handling people, but the thing that concerned me is this guy went off on a hair trigger. Just want to know how to look after myself if I should be unfortunate in a situation like that.
