Whenever I defend/explain NXT, I find myself sounding exactly like Corny, going on about how "if you stick to the basics and book a wrestling show, it works", etc. Except unlike him I don't think that's the end all to all wrestling. People act like NXT is all smark pandering, when it's really not. It's a straight down the middle, old skool wrestling show, with some top guys being shorter than on the main WWE roster, but that is about as smarky as it gets.
