>implying being a "good wrestler" matters at all to WWE

The two most profitable wrestlers of all time, Hogan and Stone Cold, were merely adequate wrestlers (Austin is good, but the character was a brawler).

People watch in droves because of characters, never because of "good wrestling". The minute Austin turned and Rock left, ratings plummeted, even though the actual wrestling got "better". This is why NXT and indie fags always sound like total morons all the time - it literally doesn't matter at all how "good" someone is in the ring.

Austin was really good before the neck injury.

More casuals watched for the spectacle but less people enjoyed it. You need good ringworkers or the show is shit, FACT

mic skills and selling the moves IS wrestling skill.

Being able to do 15 different types of pin and take-down is only one part of being a technical wrestler. Taking a bump is another part. Selling the match and mic work are the other.

The braying cokehead morons of the late 80s and early 90s are leagues ahead of the nutless fairies they have on the shows today.

Doy.

>Being a "good wrestler" is determined by your moveset

Austin was a phenomenal wrestler before and after the neck injury. He was a brawler but his timing and intensity were insane.

>>
>>1126536
tbf he doesn't appear to understand anything so at least he's consistent

you didn't read the post properly

This thread is about "good wrestlers". Not mat technicians.

Seems like you didnt read the post properly lad
>>
>>1126597
that green text makes perfect sense. Taking a bump is part of being technical. Being able to sell pain convincingly is technical, and part of wrestling technique.

Seems you focused on the "mic" part and all your other thoughts fell outta your head?

> mic work is another part of being a technical wrestler
Please feel free to not reply to me anymore
>>
>>1126416
Austin before the neck injury was a technician. He because a brawler afterwards.
>>
>>1126731
Its not that other anon's fault that you don't understand wrestling terminology.

Technical wrestling refers to a certain (actually multiple certain) styles of wrestling. It doesn't just mean "all techniques in wrestling", when you want to say that you just say "wrestling".

>>
>>1126765
Maybe it's you who doesn't understand technical wrestling? technical wrestling simply means knowing the craft. A guy with the moveset of Bret+Dynamite+Jeff Hardy but who cannot take a bump or sell a bout is only half a technical wrestler.

Again, it sounds like you got confused about the use of the word "mic", and all else fell out of your head. If there is a Venn diagram of "what makes up technical wrestling" then inside the "technical" circle you have another circle "bumps", another one "selling and cutting promos". This second circle is like hanging out of the side of the "technical" circle. The outlying part is the mic work.

You are literally arguing dimwit.
Your post is aimed at a post saying "arguing with literally nobody".

Learn how to grammar, then learn how to read, then try and construct a reply to the things you have just read, not some stuff you are guessing might once have been posted at some point.

Oh god you are so slow.

You tried to use that "using literally wrong" meme to sound smart, but you fucked it up by replying to the correct use of it.

>You are literally arguing with nobody
>You are arguing with literally nobody

In the first one, you are literally arguing.
In the second one you are arguing with literally nobody.

See the difference?

Nice attempt. But you must be disappointed with the outcome.

You are the legit dumbest person i have ever spoken to. Congratulations

protip: if you keep basing your comebacks on things that the other person didn't say, you're unlikely to make them feel too bad about themselves.
>>
Wait, people still think someone has to be a spot-monkey, high-flying, 100-move doing wrassler in order to be "good"? kek

The in-ring wrestling is merely a means to further a story. That's it.

If you care about the actual wrestling, go watch Olympic wrestling since that IS about the wrestling and not the plot.

WWE. ECW, WCW, etc. etc. they don't care how great a wrestler is as long as he can draw and not get injured.
