Memes aside he has been the face of the company for over a decade, great worker and great on the mic. He has mainstream appeal and is universally respected even among the smarkiest of smarks. Always a team player with his only fuck up being not putting Barret over. Who else would you put in? Flair, Bret, Michaels? No mainstream appeal and never drew anywhere near as much as Hogan, Austin, Rock or Cena.

Anything Undertaker wants, Undertaker gets. All he has to do is go to Vince and Vince does it. That's because Undertaker is the leader of the locker-room. All the "boys" in the back are under him. Even guys like The Rock or HBK were under him in the chain of command.
