how did someone like george foreman get such a powerful punch?

is it really from just heavy bag work?

i know mike tyson was also fond of using extra heavy bags to improve his strength, i was just wondering how did foreman get to be so strong to the point where his strength is still legendary amongst boxing fans?

Look at how broad his shoulders are and how big the muscles are in his shoulders and arms. Lots of weights and heavybag work.
