What do you train, then?
Also making a fist has nothing to do with "long fingers". Just grab the small bumps at the top of your palm with your fingertips. Also your thumb should be below then hand, pressing against it. Not on the side or vertically, as in the picture.
Also ALWAYS punch with the first two knuckles, the other two are too fragile and break easily (look up "boxers fracture"). Don't bend your wrist.
Do some pushups on your fist every day to get more stability.
