Was a raw body builder early on but unlike his partner ultimate warrior he learned a great deal and became a very good wrestler and ring general. Was one of the best athletes of the era and had tons of charisma and a really cool look. High flying, technically sound, radical. And also was really great on the mic. He was also really easy to get along with and never bullet bitch politics backstage and selflessly put over many guys, probably to a fault.

They literally built Hogan vs Sting for over a year, fans waiting and waiting for this silent badass who was the most popular wrestler on the planet at the time to save them from the most villainous, hated heel ever.
