Put him in a match with meaning/consequences, and he can work the crowds like a champ.
Booking him in nothing but the obligatory pointless filler tag team match every couple of smackdowns? Nobody can overcome that, it kills any momentum dead.
He can even talk fairly well too, but unfortunately his accent confuses the American audience(which isn't hard to do). He's not brilliant on the mic, but nowhere near as bad as some IWC's like to make out.
Nevvy just needs a decent feud which allows some of his personality to come through. Play him as more of a tweener than a face.
And maybe to do less flippyshit during matches. He's a great wrestler even when you take away the flips, but a lot of people don't realise this and assume he's all show and no substance.
And lastly, he is definitely not the ugliest guy on the roster. Most girls would probably prefer to fuck le elfy manlet than the Big Show; it's mostly men on the internet and Jerry Lawler I see bitching about his face.
He's worth a couple of IC/US title runs, maybe a WHC run down the line somewhere. I'm just hoping this is a slow burn and creative do some plans for him.

I find him terribly dull. He has no character, just a generic babyface. His moves are incredibly sterile and risk-free looking, it's amazing to me that he can make flippyshit look so boring.
I think if they brought the Cruiser belt back he could actually make a good heel champ. If that belt doesn't make a comeback then throw him in a tag team because he'll never make it as a solo guy.

Obviously the moves AREN'T risk free and nobody here could do them without injuring themselves. But the way Neville performs them is just so sterile. He's obviously done them a thousand times and it shows, and it doesn't look like he's putting his body on the line in the same way guys like RVD and Jeff Hardy did.

Neville is a great high-flyer, but that's about it. He's basically this generation's London to Kalisto's Mysterio. Got all the moveset potential in the world with the personality of a wet paper bag. If WWE had to bank on a cruiserweight to become a main eventer, it wouldn't be Neville.

Not saying correlation=causation, and based on merch sales Finn will be booked strong when he debuts, but an interesting trend nonetheless
The guy isn't terrible, I mean, he's arguably the best cruiserweight/ flippy style wrestler on the main roster.
His physique is pretty impressive when compared to flippy guys from the past, but he does feel stale sometimes, I think that some of that comes down to a fairly repetitive moveset match to match (not that the rest of the roster is much better).
As well as that, his promo/ mic skills and attire are really nothing overly interesting, and being a brit is never gonna help him, even with other brits.
But for me, the main reason I'm not a massive fan of him is because of his Table For Three appearance; it seemed like the entire way through he was constantly trying to start arguments and seemed very confrontational when he eventually let Joe and Bo speak.
Also found it annoying how they sat to eat a meal and he decided to eat an apple instead and waste his food, just seemed like a dick thing to do, I dunno.
I imagine I'm reading way too far into it and that he's a perfectly down to earth guy, but that episode did him no favours.
