I like her a hell of a lot. She does seem to be missing something, and I can't tell if the stink of being stuck in goofy shit on RAW is what is holding me back from liking her more.

This. They've basically dropped her redemption arc. What's missing from most of her matches now is she doesn't have someone to portray in-ring. Commentary doesn't sell her mostly strike based offence and with the quality of people she's facing now just she goes from one spot to the next (her match with Santana had good flow though). Its also thanks in part to how she got the shit end of the stick in her feud with Asuka and that she's carried by Dana Brooke's personality. Dana's the only way she's gonna get called up again.
She has GOAT potential though. I just don't think both creatives (NXT and WWE) will ever get her.

I really hope they're able to find something that works for her. Aside from being flat personality wise she has a lot of strengths. Good wrestler, great look (seriously, the glasses+dark lipstick suit her so well), a unique moveset.

I'm actually curious about her feud with Asuka. Still feels like it was cut short because logic would dictate that the Asuka would lose thanks to shenanigans in London and then the feud would turn into a blood feud. I say that because they've basically done nothing since and its not like NXT to build someone up that strongly. So either creative is going to shit or the plan got nuked somehow (Dana's injury maybe). Maybe we'll find out when she's released.
As an avid fan of the WWE Divas, I almost exclusively attend WWE events to see that specific match on the card. I participate in all of the other matches and get excited for them too because I love wrestling, but my passion is really more in the women's sector of the business.
Tonight, as Charlotte made her entrance, my friends and I held up our "Diva Section" signs as we had done previously in the night when Lana and Carmella came out. I would like to note that I initiated each time that we held them up and I made sure we weren't obnoxious about it. The guy sitting behind me started having issues with it and thudded me on the shoulder to tell me his kid couldn't see. We lowered them, but I also said, and I quote, "Please don't touch me" because he was a gross, smelly, fat middle aged guy thomping me on the shoulder while I was trying to enjoy the show.
He then proceeded to punch me in the right side of my face, sending me to the floor in front of my seat while holding the side of my face, throbbing in pain. I am a short, skinny 21 year old that could easily pass for a 16 year old and he put so much force behind his punch. I stumbled away and found some police officers who proceeded to get his information. In tears, we were about to leave because I was so worked up. Instead of ejecting him, they elected to move him back a section.
I stayed for the rest of Charlotte vs. Becky and then left to file a police report. My night was completely and utterly ruined by this jackass. There is a red mark on my face and I missed at least two matches because some this asshat decided to punch someone half his age in the face for holding up a sign during an entrance.
tldr; I got punched in the face by the fat guy behind me because I held up a sign during an entrance.

I think Nia Jax may have had something to do with that. Like, maybe they originally intended for it to be a bigger feud, but then decided they could use Asuka to help build The Rock's Girl Cousin and Eva Marie as a credible heels, so they cut it early in favor of Eva eliminating Asuka from the battle royale.

Doubt it since Power Alliance (Nia/Eva) haven't interacted with Asuka since then (they will this week though) and the fact that Eva eliminated Asuka hasn't been mentioned since. Its possible that Dallas wasn't on the cards when Asuka debuted or they had a Takeover scheduled after WM32 and it was switched to the weekend of. I don't know. Its all very weird.
