I noticed this on my ferret the other day. Washed it off with water and made sure the bleeding stopped. It seems to be healing normally. I noticed it after a long play session. I sent the picture to the owner of the nearby ferret shelter and she said it was probably from them playing together and it happens sometimes when they're rough. Should I start seperating them during play time? They seem to get along fine.

Do ferrets have porphyria/sunlight issues? Looks like a lesion. Maybe infected hair roots.

How long have they been together? Normally I can't see why one of them would start to get "agressive" with another ; when the domination is established, it's established for good. The only thing I can see is if one of them is implanted and its implant is starting to run out, then with the rutting period they can get very agressive, even with their bros. (Or if your ferrets are not fixed at all of course)
I'm quite happy to see a ferret thread, it's been a long time. Let's hope this one will not die as quickly as the others...
