Two days ago a bolt of lighting splits an old oak near my woodshop., I wass sitting on the patio and witnessed the strike.
Post natures fury, damaged homes, cars trees, etc.
A diameter nearly 3 feet, split 8 foot down from the fork and sent splinters and bark flying 50 feet
Land lord will take it down, and mill it out, hope to get a few board feet to make a baseball bat
or walking stick, bench, etc
