Nope that photo is real. The capybara is too big of a meal for the gator there. Even if gator was thinking of trying it, it knows the risk of doing so is high given the size of capybara. So it says, 'meh...'
they're like that chill dude who's always cool and friendly and also likes to help you if you need a helping hand or a shoulder to cry on.
>>2159177
>walking your capybaras
what's the fucking point? they need puddles to be able to take a shit so do those people always take a portable pool with them?
>>2159149
No. Caimans are opportunistic ambush predators.
Unless it's hungry or has the element of surprise a caiman won't attack unless it feels threatened.
>>2159210
>walking is only for letting your animal shit
>>2159210
>beep borp I am a ro-bot
>all funtions without utilitarian purpose are de-leted from my memory banks
>the hu-man function known as "fun" has no utility
>de-leted
>>2159208
Yeah, I want to be friends with capybara too
Are they really as chill as they look in the photos?
My friend when saw capybara for the first time told 'whoa they are like.. like a moose but with a body of guinea pig'
>>2160582
Maybe they have aura of friendship?
>>2160584
or maybe they are psychologists in animal world
>>2160582
It's very overplayed. Males can be quite aggressive, especially when they first enter puberty.

Very cool animals regardless.

>they need puddles to be able to take a shit
What?
They look like every animal's favourite sentient comfy sofa more than anything, from these pics.
>>2160607
Well I don't like when some random guy put the camera in front of my face either. And throw me into the fucking pool after.
>>2160617
it's also moving
>>2160624
Holy shit, that's even better, a massage sofa.
>>2160624
>chicken doing the head stabilization thing
bumpybara
First time I heard of capybaras was in Dwarf Fortress. My melee hunters kept getting injured by them.
Didn't realise they were so big. I thought the hunters were getting taken out by hamsters...
Happy Capy 4th of July!

>chicken being a chicken because that's all it knows
>>2160624
>random guy who hand raised the animal
>threw into pool when it walked in
>uses this to refute male aggression in capybaras
Fucking end yourself

Not to mention the two other videos showing clear territorial behavior and food aggression. Capys are pretty comparable to Guinea pigs: compared to other animals and rodents, they are relaxed and gentle most of the time, but not necessarily out of friendliness, more so aloofness, and they aren't afraid to bite when they feel like it. Now add the giant size and you do not want to be on the receiving end of that bite.

They come in different colors?
