I found a spiderweb on the front porch and got a good pic of the guy. Anyone know what kind of spider this might be?

Been finding these around lately. Southern California area. I assume it's a brown widow. Beautiful color.

I'd bet it's a Nephilid, not Argiope. The picture's fuzzy and underside shots are rarely helpful, but the big puffy legwarmers are a giveaway. Argiope legs are always either more consistently striped (see >>2158059
) or completely black halfway onwards.
